Welcome

So it's official (well as long as my nomination papers get signed!), I am standing for election to the next NME, as part of the Forward Together team. It is a decision which has taken a great deal of time, but I have enjoyed working as Worcestershire & Warwickshire Area Chairman so much; meeting members, helping build branches and working with Associations and I now feel ready to use my skills at the next level and help to improve Conservative Future (CF) nationwide.

I think many people would agree with me that it's an exciting time to be part of the Conservative Party and CF. We are by far the largest political youth organisation in the UK, and it's now time for us to step up a gear.  Following the announcement that we are to have three full time members of staff, I think we are now placed to push CF into the arena it deserves.  It's not going to be an easy job; we are all too aware of the problems with communication to members and the lack of openness and accountability. In the coming year these things have to take priority.

I know I have the right experience and skills to contribute to the Exec, and not only do I want to contribute maximally, but through the promotion of training, I want to spread the skills and knowledge that both some excellent CF members and myself have so that we can empower CF members all over the country to go forward and build new branches, increase their membership, hold bigger and better events, and be a real part of removing the vile Labour government that has plagued this country for far too long.
